Refund policy

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. But, life happens.

Rooted Apparel Co. has a 30-day return policy for non-damaged items, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return if the product did not meet your expectations.

To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • item is in the same condition that you received it
  • unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging
  • provide receipt, order number or other proof of purchase
  • provide confirmation of delivery/received date

PLEASE NOTE: Customers will be responsible for shipping costs/logistics for returning your item - costs are non-refundable. The time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on location. 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if it was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded in the form of a store credit through a digital gift card to Rooted Apparel Co. Please remember it can take some time for the gift card to process. For iPhone users, also offer the ability to link store credit to Apple Wallet.

Damages and issues
Items that arrive damaged due to shipping fault must be handled within 48 hours of delivery confirmation. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. Documentation will be required within 48 hours of delivery confirmation to support evidence of product damage so that we can evaluate the issue and work with you to make it right.

 

Exchanges
Receive the wrong color? Or wrong size? Or maybe the fit wasn't what you were expecting, sorry about that! For even-exchanges, fastest and most efficient way to ensure you get what you're after is to request a return of the item you have - once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. 

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be sent to you.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
